**The role**:
Reporting to the Technical Delivery Manager, the Principal Technical Specialist will play a lead role in the Identity Access Management project, within the Cyber Security Program. This role will provide comprehensive experience in implementing end to end Identity Management (IM) solutions to support uplifting of Queensland Health's identity lifecycle management across the enterprise. This role will also provide strategic direction and technical management support to the technical team for a successful delivery of the project's technical outcomes.

**Duties will include**:

- Level 3 support activities (technical review, triaging and defect fixes) of the QH IAM solution.
- Liaison with other technical teams to support changes in their infrastructure that will impact IAM.
- Reviews scheduled tasks and performs daily system health checks and reporting.
- Data investigation and cleansing activities as required, as and when exceptions are reported (e.g. resolving data inconsistencies, or investigating why someone has lost access, or why particular attributes have not synchronised).
- Partner with key stakeholders, HHSs and external suppliers / vendors in developing, socialisation and implementation of technical plans.
- Provide leadership and support to the IAM technical team.

- Experience in technology design including integration of technologies and have specialist knowledge in the following technical domains:

- Identity Management (IM) solutions
- Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP)
- PowerShell and API scripting
- Rest/Web Services and SQL
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, at business and technical levels, complex architectural concepts, drivers, and issues, in both written and verbal formats.
- Demonstrated understanding of how to integrate information technology with business processes and people.
