A fantastic opportunity currently exists at nbn, Australia’s largest infrastructure project, as a Technical Specialist, reporting to the Technical and Compliance Manager where you will join the State Field Operations Team.

A bit about your role

The Technical Specialist is responsible for providing technical expertise and supporting the Service Delivery Partners (SDP) and nbn field teams to ensure quality customer service and network service delivery. This entails acting as a Subject Matter Expert in service delivery, providing technical and compliance support, handling technical escalations as well as observing technical staff to ensure quality, compliance and HSE best practise is adopted and upheld.

In addition to this, you will be required to review and deliver training to the internal work force and SDPs to ensure technical skills are regularly updated. You will be responsible for reviewing and assessing current content to achieve excellence in Field Performance and practices.

A bit about you

Ideally, the Technical Specialist will have previous experience training and mentoring within a team environment. You will have good computer skills and a good working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products is an advantage.
