About Children & Youth Justice System Reform - Unify
- The Children and Youth Justice System Reform - Unify is a new division within the Department of Children, Youth Justice and Multicultural Affairs, encompassing the Unify Program and the Child and Youth Justice systems support teams.
- Unify is a multi-year Program which will implement a contemporary case and client management system that will enable the best outcomes for vulnerable children, young people and their families.
- Driven by the child protection and youth justice reforms, the program aims to contribute to the Queensland Government priority outlined in Our Future State: Advancing Queensland's Priorities - Keep communities safe.
- The collection of projects within the Program will deliver technical solutions to enable: better support of our staff, service reform through the delivery of new technology, more streamlined processes, engagement with young people, families, carers and services, whilst improving information sharing and collaboration across Queensland Government and with the social services and justice sectors.

Key responsibilities
- Provide high level strategic advice, information and support to the Unify Program and clients on complex and diverse regional and ICT planning, policy and business readiness, working closely with the Business Engagement and Readiness team.
- Review and analyse the organisation's business intentions, services, processes and information needs, to identify changes that lead to business improvements as mpart of the Unify Program.
- Assist with the articulation of high-level business needs, and the development of project and regional documentation required with the introduction of Unify products.
- Consult and collaborate with operational, policy and departmental business representatives to review current and define new business processes which will leverage functionality to be provided through the Unify Program, including involvement with the Go-Live Coordination Centre functions.
- Use advanced interpersonal communication skills to negotiate, establish and maintain networks and working relationships with team members, clients and stakeholders to influence and drive t the strategic and business readiness actions and needs of the Unify Program.
- Prepare complex reports, submissions, communication materials and other types of briefing materials on significant Program issues that arise; and identify and report on emerging risks and issues regarding business readiness.
