We seek to improve work health and safety, through regulatory and policy frameworks and the provision of evidenced-based services and advice.
The Regional Coordinator will lead and manage the administration and financial support functions performed by regional staff, and contribute to the development and implementation of customer service strategies that complement the state-wide regulatory, advisory and professional services of the division, including liaison with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effective management and accurate reporting of office administration, financial and output performance.
The Brisbane Central Region is a newly formed region, and the Regional Coordinator will be instrumental in setting up the administrative processes for the region.
To be successful in the role you will need
- demonstrated ability to lead the provision of high-quality administrative services;
- demonstrated ability to manage projects or key tasks to meet client needs within established timeframes;
- demonstrated ability to successfully manage administration functions to deliver performance outcomes within tight timeframes;
- demonstrated knowledge of public sector legislation, principles and procedures relating to human resource and financial management; and
- well-developed communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise with staff at all levels both internal and external to the region, and to work effectively in a team environment.
