**Your Role**
Reporting to 2 directors, the role is responsible for effectively and competently planning, preparing and leading the delivery of events.

The main roles and responsibilities for this position will include the following:

- Developing event ideas and delivering exceptional and fun events right from inception to delivery
- Fiscal responsibility and management of operations, which includes the preparation and management of event budgets.
- Maintaining industry knowledge and market trends and aligning to new events concepts and ideas.
- Sourcing, negotiating and signing potential event sponsorship partnerships with clients
- Vendor and venue management
- Managing event deadlines, timelines and schedules
- Creating event content, sourcing speakers and negotiating rates
- Creating and managing the Monthly Event Calendar - with a specific focus in IT

**What You’ll Need**
You’ll have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working as an Events Organiser or Events Manager or similar.
- Strong numeracy and English literacy
- Ability to multi-task and work to deadlines
- Experience in developing innovative event strategies
- Proficiency in the MS office suite, CRM software, and ability to pick up new technologies
- Ability to adapt to the changing event environment
- Have integrity, high attention to detail, and a strong sense of urgency
- Ability to build relationships with different parties, manage budgets and monitor

attendances and attendee data
- Drive to create the best experiences possible.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Take ownership and deliver on tight deadlines
