Financial Services provides a range of professional services to business units as well as to external clients. These services include specialist advice, strategies, information and policies on financial, risk and capital management matters, and comprehensive investor relations. We also manage the Banks support work, supply chains and fraud investigation and security.

**Do work that matters**

This exciting role offers the opportunity to provide executive support to the Chief Financial Officer and General Manager within the Business Banking Financial Services team. You will ensure their time is managed effectively by working in partnership with the executive including taking ownership of tasks, as well as actioning and following up on requests on behalf of your executive as required.

**Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:

- Provide proactive, effective and efficient administrative support to the General Managers
- Diary management: proactive, efficient time & diary management and maintenance of e-files
- Document management. Collation of pre reading materials (presentations, meeting papers etc.), assist in the review of papers to ensure any items manager is accountable for are prioritised and actioned in a timely manner.
- Meeting management: arrange meetings, produce and distribute agenda, action items and associated papers as required and to the timeframes required. Attend meetings, taking minutes and action items as required.
- Coordinating internal/external meetings with clients/stakeholders - including liaising with other EAs and arranging meeting room bookings.
- Attendance and participation at selected leadership meetings and events.
- Co-ordinate/arrange travel, meetings, itinerary, etc
- Arranging events/functions/offsites/team building events (including catering where required).
- Risk management - assisting with HR requests, staff exits, onboarding of service providers and management, and adhering to the Group’s policies and procedures.
- Establish and maintain strong, effective, strategic and appropriate working relationships within business partners, EAs and other stakeholders.
- HR Support: assisting with submitting recruitment requests and onboarding.
- A high level of discretion and confidentiality required for this role, with handling of sensitive materials and data.
- This role works closely with the other EA in the team, collaboration and covering each other when on leave, or out of the office.
- Provide ad hoc administrative support to the wider team
- Flexible working arrangements - The expectations within the BB Finance team is a 60% in office attendance across the month and the requirement for this role would require 90 % in office attendance for the first 6 months.

**We're interested in hearing from people who have**:

- Previous experience supporting at a senior level as an Executive Assistant
- Self-motivated individual, who displays a pro-active style, has exceptional attention to detail and an inherent desire to provide excellent customer service.
- Superior skills in Microsoft Office suite. An ability to build relationships easily across the business, are highly personable with excellent communication skills.
- The ability to manage workflow, priorities, work well under pressure and be flexible
- High level of pragmatic professionalism - face to face, over the phone and through correspondence
