**About the role**

As part of our transition into future energy, we have an exciting development role within the Hydrogen and Next Generations Fuels (H2/NGF) team. This team is responsible for developing and delivering new product solutions in hard to abate sectors of the economy and has an exciting and ambitious agenda.

The coordinator role will support the General Manager by leading projects, managing communications and engagement activities, and coordinating activities and interfaces across the Ampol Value Chain within Australia and New Zealand. This will include interfacing with internal and external stakeholders, leading market analysis and leveraging organization knowledge to support the H2/NGF program and delivery of the team’s key objectives.

**Key responsibilities**

The core areas of the role will be, ‘’Communication and Engagement’’ and ‘’Business Development/Strategy Support’’ and ‘’Stakeholder Coordination’’ with the following, but not limited to, core activities:

- Lead and support key project deliverables within H2/NGF
- Coordinate interfaces across the Ampol value chain in ANZ
- Coordinate H2/NGF internal and external stakeholder engagement and market intelligence sharing across different business areas.
- Execute the communications & engagement strategy as agreed with the Energy Solutions communications team.
- Coordinate meetings and follow-up with key internal stakeholders.
- Support alignment and refresh of strategy across ANZ for H2/NGF

**About you**

We are looking for a high-potential individual able to create innovative solutions to meet our customers’ needs, making their energy transition easy and driving value creation; able to manage and navigate ambiguity, complexity, and uncertainty by utilising structured problem-solving techniques.

This role is open to applicants preferably based in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane in Australia, with full working rights and 2+ years’ experience in a similar role, developing processes and systems to improve operations with excellent presentation, oral and written communications skills.

**Key skills and experience**
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Science, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Exposure to supply chain, asset management or operations preferably across energy assets.
- Experience developing new business/origination or involvement in a major related project.
- Project Management capabilities and the ability to communicate ideas to a range of stakeholders.
- Commercial and financial acumen.
- Driven self-starter who delivers results.
