Ampol supplies fuel to approximately 80,000 business customers in diverse markets across the Australian economy, including defence, mining, transport, marine, agriculture, aviation, and other commercial sectors. **About the role**:
As Ampol develops lower carbon solutions for its customers to be Australia’s largest provider of eMobility charging solutions, we have an opportunity for a Marketing Specialist within the Ampol Energy division with experience in through-the-line development and end-to-end delivery of first-class marketing communications, launches, acquisition and retention customer strategies and campaigns.
Reporting to the eMobility Marketing Manager, this role offers autonomy to ensure on time and on budget execution of campaign and communications activities and to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and an energetic, can-do attitude.
This role plays a key part in the long-term success of Ampol’s Energy business and forms part of the AmpCharge Marketing Team.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Be the voice of the customer to the business
- Execution of the eMobility marketing growth strategy, including but not limited to acquisition, retention and cross-sell activity
- Ideate, implement and optimise marketing campaigns across paid, owned and earned channels
- Support in the effective and timely delivery of product and program launches
- Manage budgets, campaigns and marketing activity to drive great business outcomes
- Lead customer communications programs that are regulatory compliant and customer focused
- Effectively manage the relationships between creative, print and media agencies and deliver optimal outcomes
- Work collaboratively with customer communications and broader team members to deliver a holistic customer experience across multiple platforms
The role is a permanent position based in either Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne at our corporate office locations and includes a hybrid working model with flexibility, dependent on scheduled delivery outcomes and stakeholder engagement requirements.
**About you**:
You will have proven marketing experience, preferably within the Energy/EV sector or a related commercial business for more than 5 years.
Supporting your business acumen will a tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business or significant relevant experience.
- Innovative thinker with the ability to conceptualise, develop and implement complex campaigns
- Significant experience in developing and delivering customer communications journeys
- Action oriented person with exceptional communication, collaboration and partner management skills
- Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into customer centric language
- Demonstrated experience in analysing campaign outcomes and successfully utilising insights to develop and implement testing and optimisation plans
- Strong understanding of products associated with compliance obligations
