**Vacancy**: Community Engagement Officer, Training and Engagement Unit, Clerk Grade 7/8, Enabling Services Branch
**Location**: Sydney CBD with hybrid and flexible working options.
**Employment**: Temporary up to 12 months
**Salary Range**: Up to $137,920. Package includes salary ($110,266 - $122,058), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

**The Role**

The Community Engagement Officer establishes and maintains communication channels with people of New South Wales (NSW), their representatives and government, community sector and education agencies to improve access to the Ombudsman, and the outcomes for communities and individuals in need of additional focus and support in dealing with public sector and other relevant agencies.

**About you**

You will have experience in community engagement or a related engagement or liaison field. Previous experience with government or community service provider stakeholders will be held in high regard. Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills will see you succeed in this role.
