**About Us**

At Transgrid, our work improves the lives of millions - from lighting up sports fields, schools and homes, to powering the wheels of commerce and everything else in between. Now it’s your turn to make it happen.

This is an exciting time in the energy industry with the transition to renewable energy. Recent government policy documents outline plans to facilitate increasing transmission interconnection between states and development of renewable energy zones.

**The Opportunity**

Be part of Australia’s clean energy future with Transgrid — a purpose-driven organisation delivering some of the nation’s most significant renewable energy projects. Our work is helping to shape a reliable, sustainable power system for generations to come.

Transgrid is enhancing its social licence and customer service through the Landowner Commitments Project, aimed at improving how we record, manage, and track commitments made to community members. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a passion for community engagement, strong time management, and a commitment to continuous improvement. You’ll advocate for the community, plan and deliver engagement activities, and support access to infrastructure while upholding Transgrid’s social licence. You’ll also help identify efficiencies and potential cost savings through better processes, while producing regular reports to monitor progress and outcomes.

**About You**

At Transgrid, our core values — Safety, Achievement, Integrity, and Service — are at the heart of everything we do. Our team lives and breathes these values every day, and we look forward to welcoming new colleagues who share the same commitment.

For this role we’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who brings a combination of the following
- Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Community Engagement OR professional experience in a related community or public-facing role. At least five years working in a community engagement or public facing role.
- Practical experience in dealing with difficult customers and resolving conflict.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent record keeping and data management.
- Ability to follow existing company processes and procedures.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate with a broad spectrum of people including landowners, members of the public, advocacy groups and government officers.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve results to meet deadlines.
- Excellent track record of achievement.
