**Community Engagement Support Officer - NSW Government**

A Community Engagement Support Officer is required by a NSW Government department based in the Sydney CBD + WFH (hybrid) on a 6 month contract with potential extensions.
- **Location: Sydney CBD + WFH (hybrid)**:

- **Pay Rate: Up to $600 per day + Super**:

- **Contract Length: 6 months with potential extensions**

**Primary Purpose of the Role**:
As the Community Engagement Support Officer, you will be responsible for the implementation of a range of communication & engagement activities that support the successful delivery of large department projects.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Provide support to specific project work streams within the communications division & provide advice on community & stakeholder relations
- Write & coordinate project preparation, production & release of public information including newsletters, construction updates, corporate brochures etc.
- Identify & assist in the management of project risks, opportunities or issues
- Build & maintain key relationships with stakeholders under the guidance of the Senior Manager

**About You**:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications with demonstrated experience in Community Engagement and/or Customer Service
- Demonstrated ability to gather, analyse & present complex information
- Strong working ability monitoring emerging trends & issues as well as identifying & responding to risks effectively
- Demonstrated ability to identify process improvements & contribute to their implementation
- Outstanding communication & stakeholder engagement skills
