Reporting into the Chief Portfolio Officer (CPO) the role of the Manager, Portfolio Management and Delivery Assurance is to track, analyse, coordinate, and advise on the VBA Portfolio of Work. This leadership role is a key connection between the governance functions and the delivery functions and will perform the secretariat role for the Portfolio Governance Committee (PGC).

As the Manager, Portfolio Management and Delivery Assurance has line management responsibility for a portfolio resource and scheduler, portfolio co-ordinators, and has overall responsibility for a portfolio schedule, resource analysis, portfolio co-ordination activities, and other PMO leadership activities.

**In this role you will**
- **Prepare reports about portfolio risks, issues, financials, and benefits** for the Portfolio Governance Committee
- **Maintain a master schedule** for the overall VBA portfolio of work clearly defining status, timeline, and progress
- **Maintain a resource plan**, conducts resource analysis and co-ordinates resourcing processes including on and off boarding
- **Maintain accuracy of portfolio information** in project listing or required portfolio platform
- Work with the CPO and project stakeholders **to track and ensure the quality of key documentation** and submissions for initiatives are to schedule
- **Coordinate the Portfolio Governance Committee meeting and capture minutes for approval**:

- **Lead and provide day to day direction to team members** including the scheduler and portfolio co-ordinator roles.
- **Onboard and induct new PMO staff members** with the PMO framework, handbook, processes, and templates.
