**About the Role**:
We are currently looking for an experienced Infrastructure Portfolio Delivery Manager to join our Infrastructure Technology team at our CBD head office on a full time and permanent basis.

This position will be responsible for owning and driving the delivery of the infrastructure portfolio consisting of complex programs, projects, work packages, and services delivered by multiple teams using an agile-like, iterative methodology.

The role is accountable for leading a team of internal employees, contractors and outsourced service providers to ensure the delivery of assigned work on time and budget to support the domain level commitments.

The role will also own the identification and management of delivery risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints associated with the work package/project, clearing roadblocks and resolving delivery contentions. The role ensures effective control, oversight, resourcing and timing of assigned work is in line with committed delivery plans, along with the quality of key deliverables required throughout the delivery lifecycle.

**What you’ll deliver**:

- Create, maintain, and prioritise the delivery function planned and unplanned work to deliver value to requestors and stakeholders.
- Determine, plan, and manage delivery tasks, issues, risks, and action items, including goals and priorities, to ensure the delivery to meet agreed performance objectives.
- Ensure agile-like/iterative work type events and meetings are run to agreed framework, including facilitating and implementing robust and disciplined decision-making processes.
- Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships at all levels within both IT and non-IT business units.
- Orchestrate the continuous delivery of work fostering an iterative approach to help deliver backlog at velocity with little re-work and financial overruns.
- Own the successful execution of build, test, deploy functions aligning the teams to a shared mission and vision.
- Collaborate with the broader IT Infrastructure team to ensure delivery outcomes align with planned work and priorities.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of improved operations throughout the business unit.

**To succeed in this role you’ll have**:

- University degree or post graduate level qualifications in Business Administration or IT, and/or significant work experience
- Agile certification or equivalent experience in establishing and running iterative/Agile teams and processes
- Strong understanding of infrastructure management and improvements practices
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business drivers
- Proficiency in core delivery methodologies - Waterfall, Agile, SAFe and DevOps
- Proficient use of the Atlassian Product Suite - primarily Jira & Confluence
- Demonstrated previous experience as an Portfolio Delivery Manager
- Infrastructure technology management background required including on-prem, private and public cloud skills and understanding.
- Proven expertise in driving change across complex stakeholders.
- Experience with business case development and project costing.
- Demonstrated strong mentoring skills and people uplift capability.
