Events Team Leader

We are looking for extraordinary, enthusiastic and highly motivated team leader that is inspired to create a unique and memorable guest experience. This position will suit someone who delivers superior customer service and professionalism at its best
Reporting to the Events Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day supervision of Conference and Events service staff, food & beverage and presentation standards are followed and met accordingly.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Welcoming and interacting with all patrons to make sure the event is running at customer expectations
- Ensuring function room are set up according to requirements listed in Banquet Event Order
- Providing exceptional, courteous, friendly service to our patrons that differentiates us from our competition
- Supervise staff and monitor staff grooming, presentation and conduct are at service standard
- Train and develop staff
- Encourage customers feedback and guiding them to the appropriate area or person for resolution of situations outside the scope of their authority
- Cleaning and stocking food and beverage items as required

**Selection Criteria**:

- Previous experience working in functions or events environment is essential
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, delegate and supervise a team whilst conducting ad hoc duties
- Superior communication skills including both verbal and written
- Immaculate personal presentation and service that is personalized to every guest
- Multi-tasking abilities reflecting efficient organizational skills such as take initiative, the ability to think on your feet whilst working exceptional under pressured environments
- Attention to detail
- Dependable
- Conflict resolution techniques if and when minor conflicts do arise
- Must be flexible with rosters and available to work day, nights, overnight and Public Holidays
