Bankstown Sports is a one-stop destination for all. Our venues include the Lady Banks Rooftop Bar and the Basement Brewhouse, along with diverse food offerings across Italian, Asian, and middle eastern cuisines, just to name a few. The Group operates six clubs as well as a state of the art 600 seat theatre, a large Grand Ballroom and an extensive range of facilities to host events of all kinds along with a commercial office tower.

About the role
We are looking for a self-motivated leader who excels at communication and exudes professionalism, to lead our Bistro team on a full-time basis. This role requires someone who is passionate about our members and guests and will strive to deliver customer service excellence.

Responsibilities include
- Lead and develop team members in our busy Bistro to deliver and maintain the highest level of customer service excellence
- Demonstrate a “Can-do” Attitude to fellow team members
- Manage the team and delegate tasks during peak trade periods
- Create a work environment that promotes teamwork, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction
- Resolve member and guest complaints
- Supervision of assigned staff including; training, coaching and performance feedback
- Monitor staff grooming, presentation and conduct, where necessary counsel or discipline
- Assisting with the orientation of new staff and facilitating their ongoing acquisition of knowledge
- Ensure a safe working environment
- Provide up to date information to our members and guests on all Club services
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for members, guests, visitors, and employees in accordance with the Club Policies and Procedures
- Ensure that RSA/RCG/Food Hygiene is promoted and enforced
- Other duties reasonably requested by Management

**Essential Criteria**:

- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a Food and Beverage environment
- RSA and RCG qualifications (or willing to obtain)
- Commitment to a 7-day rotating roster across days, nights, weekends and public holidays
- Rights to work in Australia
