**About Your New Role as a Procurement Compliance, Governance & Assurance Advisor**
The Procurement Compliance, Governance & Assurance Advisor will support the Specialist in relation to risk and assurance activities including:
- Monitor progress of risk and compliance issues to identify and then lead remediation initiatives.
- Update procedures and registers.
- Report on compliance obligations.
- Amend contracts to ensure compliance to legislation and company enterprise risk expectations.
- Review Procurement tools and templates to improve their efficacy and ensure compliance to government requirements.
- Provide input into business training content.
- Assist with updates to the Procurement intranet pages.
**What you will need to succeed**
- Degree in business or technical area or equivalent experience
- Procurement Compliance, Governance & Assurance Advisor experience
- Experience in a similar role in governance, assurance, compliance or role that required business process change.
- Knowledge of various legislation, guidelines and standards impacting procurement and supply chain management impacting Government Agencies.
- Ability to conceive, articulate, advise and deliver continuous improvements in service provider performance.
