**A05 Procurement and Contracts Officer**
- 10 month contract engagement with possible extension
- Monday to Friday, 36.25 hours per week
- $60.25 per hour + super, Brisbane CBD location

**About the Opportunity**:
**Kingston Human Capital** has been engaged by one of Queensland’s leading Government Authorities to assist in sourcing an outstanding Procurement and Contracts Officer to join their team at an A05 level on a
**10 month contract** with possibility for further extension.

As a Procurement and Contracts Officer, you will play a vital role in undertaking end-to-end transactional procurement activities across the general goods and services and ICT categories.

**As the Procurement and Contracts Officer, you will**:

- Undertake the delivery of end-to-end transactional procurement services, including the preparation of planning, sourcing, evaluation and contract management documents.
- Prepare briefing notes for approval by senior and executive level management
- Prepare procurement and evaluation plans across the GGS and IT categories
- Prepare tender (Request for Quote (RFQ) or Invitation to Offer (ITO)) documentation
- Assist the business in undertaking both complex and non-complex low value procurement activities
- Liaise with customers to understand their operational requirements and recommend convincing solutions that support the whole of Government and agency aligned goals
- Finalise evaluation reports and manage contract executions.
- Previous Government procurement experience is highly desirable
- Understanding of, and experience applying, the Queensland Procurement Policy and practices
- Strong written skills, with the ability to write comprehensive procurement documentation
- Hight level stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines and strong time management skills.
