Our client, the Queensland Government, is seeking multiple Procurement Officers at various levels. You will join the ICT & Infrastructure team, the General Goods & Services team, or the Disaster Management team. In this role, you will collaborate within a small team responsible for overseeing strategic procurement projects and managing contracts associated with high value/high risk procurement endeavours**.**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee and provide guidance on financial, contract management, and procurement systems compliance, aligning with organizational policies and procedures.
- Engage in negotiations and consultations with both internal and external stakeholders to address procurement and contract-related matters, pinpointing particular business requirements, and ensuring compliance within specified deadlines.
- Play an active role in a proficient and professional procurement team, contributing to the drafting and negotiation of contracts.
- Offer top-tier procurement advice and services, encompassing procurement planning, development of sourcing documentation, release and evaluation processes, contract negotiation, contract management, including robust ICT Category Management functions, and administrative tasks.
- Manage contracts collaboratively with Contract Managers, adhering to the principles outlined in the Queensland Government Contract Management Framework.
- Engage in negotiations and consultations with internal and external stakeholders to understand specific business needs and facilitate compliance within designated timeframes.

**Desirable skills and knowledge**
- Highly desirable Queensland Government Procurement
- Experience in SAP, Knowledge of Supply Chain Methodology and Queensland Information Technology Contracting Framework would be highly desirable
