**Kingston Human Capital** has been engaged by one of Queensland’s leading Government Departments to assist in sourcing an experienced Procurement Officer to join their team on a 3-month contract with view of extension.

**As the Procurement Officer, you will**:

- Undertake the delivery of end-to-end tactical procurement services, including the preparation of planning, sourcing, evaluation and contract management documents
- Provide advise on best practice and QPP compliance
- Liaise with customers to understand their operational requirements and recommend convincing solutions that support the whole of Government and agency aligned goals.
- Oversee and/or coordinate the preparation, issue, maintenance, and evaluation documentation for the offer/tendering processes.
- Contribute to a high level of professional practice by maintaining a sound knowledge of contemporary procurement strategies and practices; and an awareness of government priorities that have implications for the procurement function.
- Strong written skills, with the ability to write comprehensive procurement documentation
- Hight level stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience in working within a Public Sector environment
- Strong understanding of QPP and practices
