**Who we’re looking for**:
A collaborative and consultative procurement professional with a background spanning Procure to Pay and Strategy, someone able to design and mature governance frameworks and deliver engaging training to our procurement community. As an advisor and educator, you will be passionate about continuous improvement. **What you’ll be doing**:
As part of the Group’s Procurement Centre of Excellence, you will lead the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of all policies, procedures, tools and frameworks supporting the Procure to Pay process. Woking closely with the procurement community, you will ensure tools, framework and process are fit for purpose and enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Additionally you will also:

- Consult with business and Group Procurement stakeholders to ensure that all tools, templates and frameworks are fit for purpose
- Manage the roll-out of new tools, templates and frameworks, including all necessary communications and change management activity
- Improve and promote core procurement processes, including driving user adoption and continuous process improvement
- Ensure that processes are fit for purpose and meet business need and assist business units to change their ways of working as necessary, as well as creating bespoke processes as required
- Drive business improvement through process efficiency, identifying key areas within business segments who can benefit from common tools, templates and frameworks
- Continuously assess training needs across the VA Procurement and Purchasing Community
- Develop and maintain internal/external training courses including owning and managing the calendar of topics to spread best practices within Group Procurement
- Connect and build trusted relationships with business leaders across the organisation, with the objective of improving compliance with relevant policies and procedures

**What you need to be successful**:

- Hold a tertiary qualification in either commerce, economics or business with a procurement or supply chain focus
- Have a deep understanding of procure to pay process
- Demonstrated business advisory, process improvement
- Act as a business advisor and create and implement training sessions
- Strong leadership skills together with the ability to successfully manage cross functional project teams
- Proven commercial acumen
- Previously built solid business cases for change and continuous improvement
