The Job
As simPRO’s Chief Product Officer, you will be a strategic leader, visionary, team supervisor, and an advocate for simPRO products.

You will grow existing product offerings, as well as lead and facilitate the creation of complementary products that deliver value to both customers and the business.
As a member of simPRO’s executive team, this role reports directly to simPRO’s Chief Executive Officer.

The role can be located anywhere remotely on Australia's east coast.
What You’ll Do
The Chief Product Officer oversees of a broad scope of product-related activities across the entire product lifecycle - from customer discovery and user research, to development and delivery:

- Product strategy
- Product vision
- Product design
- User research
- Product development
- Product growth
- Product analytics and metrics
- Structuring the product organization, including interviewing, recruiting, and supervising product employees and teams.

Key Contributions
- Leadership. You are responsible for supervising and overseeing the entire product organisation, ensuring initiatives run smoothly across internal teams, customers and stakeholders. This naturally includes supervising and directing the work of senior product leaders, together with facilitating relevant communication across the company and collaboration of work across cross-functional teams.
- Strategic product vision. Dedicated to execution and growth of the product strategy, you are responsible for the “why” of simPRO’s product and the strategy for what to build next, aligning the company’s products around the simPRO vision.
- Customer focused - You have a deep understanding of the problems, needs, and desires of simPRO customers through customer discovery. Our feedback is central to building excellent product experiences, identifying proper positioning in the market, leading to product success in all of simPRO’s markets.
- Data driven - You make objective, data-driven decisions and create value for simPRO through insights, dashboards and the identification of both metrics and analysis.

What You’ll Bring
- A minimum 10-15 years' of progressive technological product management experience, with recent product leadership in a SaaS organisation
- Background in developing and successfully executing a global product strategy, multiple brand product growth preferred, product-led product strategy preferred
- Experience with comprehensive, complex systems
- Background in B2B product/s
- Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree is preferred
- Scaling an organisation from $200M to $300+M in revenue
- Ideally, exposure working with products or services related to the trades
- Experience in sales / commercial orientation, is advantageous
- M&A experience is considered a plus.
