**The Opportunity**
**Duties**
The National Business Manager is a key role for our client. As such, your primary duties will include:
- Maintain an annual business development plan and interaction plan per key account that generates outcomes in line with the company strategy.
- Maintain relationships with existing and new clients, providing high quality customer service ensuring sales and opportunities are maximized, and customer retention and development is achieved.
- Pro-actively identify new and different business opportunities to provide increased sales, including responding to new business enquiries in a prompt and timely fashion.
- Drive new product launches and range reviews
- Forecast annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
- Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
- Manage all customer interactions and enquires in relation to quality management, pricing, contracts, logistics and any other issues that arise
- Lead a small team to deliver results to customers
**Skills & Experience**
To be successful in this position, you will possess:
- Demonstrated success in sales, business management and/or account management roles, with experience in a similar role in an organisation preferred.
- Excellent organisational skills when managing processes
- Excellent communication, networking and negotiating skills.
- Ability to effectively build positive relationships with new and existing clients.
- Competencies in using PowerPoint and Excel is advantageous
