An exciting opportunity exists for a talented and passionate individual to join the First Peoples-State Relations Group as Coordinator in the Traditional Owner Rights and Land Justice Division at the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
The Advancing Traditional Owner Rights and Land Justice Division, within the First Peoples - State Relations Group, leads redress and self-determination policy development, ensure alignment between the _Traditional Owner Settlement Act 2010_ (Vic) and future Interim Treaty offers.
The position has a key responsibility for the quality control and smooth movement of Ministerial briefings, correspondence and other written products and advice. The Coordinator role includes undertaking a range of administrative activities in a complex service delivery environment. The position requires experience in providing administrative support in a dynamic and time sensitive workplace with the capacity to work independently and as part of a team.

**About you**
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Proven ability to work cooperatively as a team member in the pursuit of team and division goals; to collaborate and share information; and to accommodate and work well with the different working styles of others.
- Demonstrated conceptual, analytical and creative skills, with the ability to show initiative and a proactive approach in identifying issues and developing appropriate solutions to solve business problems and improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Strong organisational and time management skills and the ability to prioritise and achieve various tasks within tight timeframes ensuring outputs are delivered in an efficient and effective manner.
- Knowledge of native title, land rights, or equivalent processes and the broad issues affecting Victorian Traditional Owner groups and the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Victorian Traditional Owner groups and their representatives.
