Seeking an experienced Executive Officer to support an Executive Director and board

**Your new company**

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Executive Officer to join a State Government department in Perth CBD for a 2-month temporary assignment.

**Your new role**
- Manage the Board Committee’s operations, resources and service delivery in accordance with relevant legislation and delegations
- Provide finance information and reports to the Board and its Committee’s to enable effective decision-making and to comply with relevant governance and legislative requirements
- Prepare and coordinate Board and Committee papers
- Attend all board and leadership meetings, provide secretariat support including taking minutes, preparing agendas and papers, and following up on action items.
- Undertake various projects on behalf of the Board
- Provide advice and to support systems, processes, policies and procedures to improve business and services
- Develop reports, briefing notes and submissions on behalf of the Board
- Provide high-level and confidential executive and administrative support to the Executive Director and other directorate leadership team members
- Manage and coordinate meeting schedules, maintain diaries and arrange meetings for the leadership team members
- Prepare, manage and provide coordination of executive and ministerial correspondence, briefing notes, submissions and reports.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new and improved processes to support the delivery of executive support functions
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Proven experience providing high level executive support is essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication is essential.
- Strong attention to detail, time management and communication skills
- Well-developed research, problem-solving and analytical skills to undertake general research and investigate a diverse range of complex and confidential matters and identify issues and possible solution
- A current police clearance, dated within the past 3 months (or willing to obtain)

**What you'll get in return**

The role is being offered on an initial temporary contract for an **immediate start**.
- 37.5 hours - Monday to Friday
