About the role
At Executive Risk Solutions (ERS), we're looking for a skilled and experienced Security Officers to join our casual pool supporting ERS clients. As an ERS Security Officer, you will possess a strong understanding of security standards, regulations and laws. We also need you to be aware of the sensitivity to cultural differences and demonstrate teamwork when working with our clients, stakeholders, visitors and staff.
You will be required (but not limited) to:
- Attend to client and visitor needs with exceptional customer service
- Focus on early identification of potential disturbances with the view to de-escalate and contain potential incidents
- Monitor security and alarm systems on a regular basis
- Perform access control
- Maintain records and registers relevant to security and running of building
- Show resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Liaise and assist police and emergency services when required
- Demonstrate competence in spoken and written English
Eligibility for the role:
- Certificate II in Security Operations
- Valid WA Security Licence & ID
- Current Provide First Aid Certificate and current CPR (within 12 months)
- Current National Police Clearance (no more than 6 months old)
- Current unrestricted Manual Drivers Licence
- Current Working With Children (WWC) card (or willingness to obtain)
