We are seeking a **Submissions Coordinator & Writer** to join Multiplex's Submissions team, a close-knit group of five that forms part of the broader New Business team, based at our Sydney Head Office. This role plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality submissions that showcase Multiplex's capabilities and align with its values.
The Submissions Coordinator & Writer is responsible for coordinating and producing compelling written content for major bids, tenders, awards, proposals, presentations, and capability statements. Working closely with the Submissions Manager and / or Coordinators, along with the project teams, you will manage assigned bids, craft tailored responses and ensure all submission materials meet Multiplex's high standards in both content and presentation. Content contributions may include executive summaries, award submissions, personnel profiles, compliance documentation and technical information (from construction methodology to management plans) - each reflecting client objectives while embodying the Multiplex brand.
This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for writing, and enjoys working collaboratively to deliver impactful and polished submissions.
**On a day-to-day basis the Submissions Coordinator & Writer will**:
- Write and edit content for EOIs, tenders, awards, proposals, presentations, and lessons learnt.
- Coordinate submission materials, ensuring consistency in style and formatting across documents.
- Manage project data and templates, including updates in Multiplex Connect and standard response libraries.
- Prepare and maintain collateral, such as staff CVs, project sheets, and company information.
- Collaborate across teams and provide general support to the New Business team and national submissions network.
**To be considered for this role, you will have**:
- 3-5 years' experience in writing for tenders, editorial, communications, or similar roles.
- Exceptional writing and formatting skills, with strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, engaging content.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) plus Adobe Creative Suite experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interpret written, verbal, and visual/diagrammatic instructions. Experience in the built environment sector preferred but not essential.
