**The Opportunity**
Our Australian Steel Markets business is looking to expand our engagement in the renewable energy and sustainability segment with the appointment of a Product Manager - Renewables and Sustainability. With the flexibility to be based in either Mascot NSW or Port Kembla NSW, this is a new position within the marketing team.
In this brand-new position, working with key internal and external stakeholders, you’ll drive activation of key partnerships and initiatives to build on the equity of BlueScope’s portfolio of brands and drive growth into the renewable energy sector. In this role, you will be part of a supportive cross functional team whose endeavors contribute to the growth of top and bottom-line performance.

**What Will You Do?**
In this exciting position, you will contribute to and execute BlueScope’s renewables and sustainability marketing communications strategy. Working within a hybrid structure, in this role you will build programs that enhance the strategic value of our brands through engagement with key decision makers in government and industry.
With a communications focus, you will manage strategic projects across the dual functions of renewables and sustainability.
You will:
- undertake renewables and sustainability-focused market research
- work with the Communications and Digital teams to manage the communications and events calendar and manage the activations across key industry channels and events
- develop and implement an events and initiatives plan to support BlueScope’s BDM engagement with key stakeholders in industry
- support execution and launch of key innovation projects with a focus on the Renewable Energy Industry or Sustainability
- develop influential relationships with key customers and industry/market influencers
- review co-operative marketing material produced by customers to ensure claims are accurate
- drive cross-channel marketing efforts in relation to the messages and media we deploy to communicate with the market, including creating and curating engaging content
- collaborate with the broader marketing team to ensure renewables and sustainability messaging is integrated across all marketing channels
- remain up-to-date on relevant renewables, sustainability regulations, rating tools and certifications in the built environment
**More About You**
As a marketing professional with effective communication, relationship building and influencing skills, you will bring:
- degree qualifications in marketing, a business-related discipline or engineering
- experience supporting the development and managing the implementation of segment, channel and marketing plans
- a background in supporting brand and/or product management
- proven track record of successfully managing large complex projects or products that require significant cross-functional coordination
- experience in business to business or a combination of both business to business and consumer marketing roles (commercial and/or residential and/or building industry)
- previous project management of launch campaigns and new product development (products and/or brands)
