**Description**:
**The Role**:
Based in our Darwin facility, the Production Lead will be part of the core team that will ramp up the Darwin assembly/manufacturing facility.

**Key Deliverables/ Responsibilities**:
Plan, manage and control the assembly of MAV with a focus on safety, quality and productivity
Report on Daily Productivity including Inventory, Scrap and Material Usage
Risk Assessment for all new processes
Team leader for the growing team of 5B Maverick builders
Perform warehousing activities until the role requires a full-time person and then assist in supply chain activities
Assist the Project Team with the installation and setup of workstations
Support Facility Manager for MAVPOD modifications and ongoing factory developments

Are you our next All-Star?

Degree or certificate qualified in mechanical engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Forklift Driving licence or ability to acquire preferred
Demonstrates aptitude to provide engineering support in order to reduce manufacturing downtime and deviations
Ability to cope and work with disruption and adapt to changing priorities.
Capable of training & developing a team
Implements lean initiatives to build a continuous improvement culture, using tools such as visual management and 5S
