- **Salary: $44.05 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading) + superannuation**:

Are you passionate about supporting young people and creating vibrant, inclusive communities? Hobsons Bay City Council is seeking enthusiastic and committed **Youth Development Officers** to join our dynamic Youth Services team.

**As a Youth Development Officer, you will**:

- Deliver engaging programs, events and activities that build resilience and connection among young people.
- Work across a variety of locations, proactively engaging with young people in their spaces and communities.
- Support both face-to-face and online participation, ensuring continuity and consistency in service delivery.

**We’re looking for individuals who bring**:

- Creativity, initiative and a passion for youth engagement.
- Strong skills in program planning, facilitation and event coordination.
- The ability to adapt to evolving needs of young people and the community.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people across Hobsons Bay.

**What you need to succeed**
- Certificate IV or above in Youth Work / Community Development fields or lesser qualifications with some relevant experience.
- Current Working with Children’s Check.
- Current and valid full Victorian Driver’s Licence
- First Aid with updated CPR
- Qualification/ training in Alcohol & Other Drugs (desired)
