**Future Student Engagement Lead (Ongoing - Full Time)**

AFTRS is the national screen and broadcast school - the only Australian education institution to consistently make _The Hollywood Reporter_‘s prestigious annual list of the top film schools in the world. We are looking for an experienced Future Student Engagement Lead to join the Marketing Team. You will be responsible for developing and implementing student recruitment and retention strategies to attract a diverse and talented cohort for Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses, as well as overseeing all short course enquiries and enrolments. This role oversees the student recruitment process with a particular focus on ensuring equity and accessibility.

You will implement initiatives and improvements designed to improve the customer experience whilst positioning AFTRS as the premier screen and broadcast School. Working closely across divisions, this role requires strong leadership and influencing skills. This role is a key contributor to the annual recruitment strategy, designed to attract quality students from a diverse group of Australians and international applicants, ensuring AFTRS is represented in relevant industry events, school expos and career fairs around Australia and occasionally overseas.

**About the role**:

- As the Future Student Engagement Lead at AFTRS, you will:_
- Work closely with the Head of Student Recruitment and Admissions to devise and implement engaging, creative and customer centric recruitment strategies to drive leads and conversions for AFTRS degrees, industry certificates, and short courses.
- Work with IT to identify improvements in the CRM improving the customer experience and improving conversion.
- Contribute to the Admissions Committee and work collaboratively with Faculty, Student Centre, IT, and Governance to develop effective admissions workflows, policies, and guidelines to ensure processes are documented and implemented efficiently.
- In collaboration with Student Centre and faculty, provide a high-level of customer service to all prospective and current students across both degree and short courses.
- Work closely with the Head of Student Recruitment and Admissions to develop and implement a year-long recruitment plan that is designed to increase AFTRS brand awareness in markets outside of Sydney.
- Work closely with the First Nations & Outreach team and identify opportunities to increase diversity of applicants and drive new enrolments in the Undergraduate and Post graduate programs.
- Manage the recruitment calendar and budget, as set by the Head of Student Recruitment & Admissions, ensuring all activities are delivered to the highest standard and within budget ensuring the AFTRS brand is always well represented.
- Represent AFTRS brand for BA and MA in every state and territory positioning AFTRS as the leading screen and broadcast school in Australia.

**About you - you will have**:

- Proven success in a similar role or experience leading student recruitment events, preferably in a higher education organisation.
- A sound working knowledge of CRM, preferably Salesforce.
- Proven ability to work with different stakeholder groups including ICT, faculty, and marketing.
- Event marketing experience for both small and large-scale events including open days.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to act proactively and with sound judgement in a quality assurance and compliance environment.

**Salary**:AFTRS Level 6 $76,839, plus up to 15.4% superannuation and excellent benefits.

**Salary**: $76,839.00 - $89,364.00 per year
