**The Role - Product Manager**
**Reports to - Lead Product Manager**

This is an individual contributor role for a Product Manager with strong competencies, and a passion for product as a career path.

You will have experience working in a Product Engineering team, competent with Agile and HCD methods, and has demonstrated success in an outcome focused environment

As a Product Manager you are the go-to person for the part of the Product or Customer Journey within your remit. You are heavily involved in, and claim ownership of, the success and learnings throughout the product life cycle. You will communicate and collaborate with teams across the organization as well as with external customers with your core responsibilities being to develop or enhance products customers need want and love.

**Build & Optimise**
- Leads teams through discovery, development, testing, and launch of all releases to market
- Develop new products that address unmet customer needs within our WoW
- Determine metrics to measure success & progress
- Fluid in Agile Practices and HCD
- Work with the Tech Leads and Lead Product Manager on our 3rd. party integrations strategy and create a clear-cut process for StarRez, our customers and 3rd. parties to exchange data in a simplistic way

**Measure**
- Increase the value and optimise performance of existing products
- Track product engagement and impact on end users
- Use data and technology to support decisions and challenge assumptions.

**Prioritisation**
- Owns the prioritisation of their domain
- Strategically prioritises projects based on measurable value
- Create a roadmap that delivers on the Product Strategy
- Gain stakeholders buy-in on initiatives

**Communication**
- Effectively communicate and document all findings and requirements
- Manage 3rd. party vendor relationships and facilitate technical conversations between our engineering teams and our partners
- Post-launch monitoring to look for opportunities.
- Participate in showcases and POD rituals

**Attitude**
- Exhibits a deep understanding of the customer’s needs and reinforces a user-centric approach to product
- Encourages a culture that values and prioritizes research-backed and customer-focused data.
- Ability to see a holistic picture and problem and slice the problem into smaller pieces of complete value to solve for
- Possess a deep understanding of when a problem is solved and how to measure success.
