**Your New Role**

As a Production Manager in this construction business, you will have quite an autonomous role. For this reason, you will be a self-sufficient leader with a passion for managing others. You will manage production workers, work closely with staff to identify areas of improvement, ensure processes are standardised and inspect new machinery and perform quality control checks.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Leading and managing the production team to the best of your ability at all times
- Working closely with budgets and monitoring budgets/KPI's for team on a daily basis
- Monitor output and adjust resources to reduce costs
- Setting, meeting and exceeding target goals for production to meet customer requirements - setting daily, weekly and yearly objectives and communicating these to employees
- Organising workflow by delegating tasks
- Identifying issues in efficiency within the team and coming up with solutions to solve such issue
- Ensuring a safe working place at all times - whether it be ensuring staff are well-trained or ensuring employees in your area of responsibility are formally and effectively inducted

**What You'll Need to Succeed**

To excel in this role, you will possess the following qualifications and skills:

- Experience in a similar, people-management role (preferably Production Manager)
- Background in manufacturing - automotive/construction ideal
- Great hands-on experience with tools
- High standard of attention to detail
- Outstanding experience working with ERP systems and using dashboards
