Brisbane, Australia MAAS Group Full time

Maas Group are seeking a full-time Collections Officer to join our Shared Services team. The Collections Officer will be primarily responsible for processing customers refunds, reviewing account alterations, resolving client inconsistences and collecting overdue payments. The role requires someone with the ability to balance between maintaining trustful relationships and guaranteeing timely payments.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Effective and clear communication with other team members in the shared services division and the financial management team
- Develop effective repayment plans and follow-up clients on overdue accounts.
- Perform administrative duties where required.
- Respond to customer and client account queries in a timely and professional manner.

**Knowledge, experience and attributes required**:

- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Accuracy and attention to detail when managing account figures and financial records
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of AP/AR procedures
- Proficient in the use of MYOB / Xero
- Ability to work autonomously
- Team player with the ability to communicate and coordinate
