Description Are you a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a knack for building rapport and recovering outstanding accounts? We're looking for a dedicated Collections Officer to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining the financial health of our organisation by managing overdue accounts, negotiating payment solutions, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Monitor and maintain a portfolio of overdue accounts ensuring consistent follow-up and resolution of outstanding debts.
  • Negotiation: Work with customers to negotiate payment plans and settlement term, ensuring mutually agreeable solutions that protect the company's interests.
  • Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve discrepancies or disputes regards invoices, ensuring accurate account reconciliation.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to debt collection procedures.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, customer service departments to establish locate
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent service to customers while maintaining professionalism and adhering to the company's policies and procedures.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Experience: Proven experience in collections, credit control, and customer services.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to assess situations and make informed decisions to resolve collection issues.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with an ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines efficiently.
  • Negotiation Skills: Skilled in negotiating and persuading clients to settle debts in a timely manner.
  • Office Skills: Moderate Excel Skills, experience in NetSuite is preferred but not critical.
