We are currently looking for a Configuration Officer to join our Advisory business, based in Canberra.

**The Configuration Officer will be required to**:
Tailor, implement and manage configuration management (CM)
Advise the Configuration Control Board (CCB) on matters pertaining to CM and projects/systems of CM transition requirements
Provide administration support, including scheduling and preparing agendas/minutes
Register and administer submitted Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs)
Amend active CM documents including the Configuration Management Plan (CMP)
Manage Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) procedures
Manage Configuration Audits
Report Functional Configuration Audit (FCA) and Physical Configuration Audit (PCA) status

To be successful in the role of Configuration Officer you will need to bring with you:
Demonstrated experience in Configuration Management
Experience with both CMT-L (trained) and Objective
Auditing experience and experience in conducting Configuration Control Boards (CCBs)
Ability to perform an extensive range and variety of complex technical work activities with limited guidance demonstrating initiative, creativity and responsibility
Demonstrated experience with systems and safety, security and managing technical risk
Experience working in a complex stakeholder system
Ability to build and sustain positive relationships with team members

Whilst not essential lead Auditor training and objective training as a Work Group Coordinator will be highly regarded.

Applicants MUST hold and NV1 Australian Government security clearance.
