A high profile **Federal Government Department** is looking to engage an experienced **Asset and Configuration Officer** to be part of their multidisciplined team based in Canberra and take on a lead role. You will coordinate the ICT Asset Management processes, including ordering, warehousing, and distribution of ICT equipment and peripherals for department. The **Asset and Configuration Officer** will secure an **Initial 12 month contract + 12 month extension option, **and receive a **rewarding hourly rate + hybrid flexibility.**

The successful **Asset and Configuration Officer** will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Designing, building, deploying and supporting the department’s hardware fleet
- Leading a Hub of the Agency’s Asset Management team, delivering essential ICT hardware and software services
- Managing Asset Stocktake and Audits
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders in a positive and professional manner

The successful **Asset and Configuration Officer** will have experience in the following:

- Demonstrated experience with ICT Asset Management, Configuration Management and warehousing processes
- Demonstrated experience in freight forwarding, logistics, inventory administration, purchasing or supply chain administration
- Experience undertaking ICT asset functions in complex geographically diverse organisations
- Understand and implement appropriate ICT asset management practices
