Configuration Manager

The Company

**The Role**:
The Configuration Manager provides technical expertise and advice to support Sigma Bravo.

Under direction from the Project Manager, the position supports and enforces the Configuration Management requirements, including Configuration Item (CI) types, naming conventions (software and documentation), required attributes and relationships.

The role is responsible for ensuring that configuration data is available when and where it is needed to support other service management processes.

**Responsibilities include but is not limited to**:
Performing configuration audits and reporting of the Configuration Management data.

Developing and maintaining Configuration Management processes and procedures.

Ensuring that all information within the Configuration Management system is accurate and up to date.

Ensuring the accessibility of configuration management data is secure and accessible to stakeholders on a needs basis.

Providing advice and support to stakeholders to ensure any change impacts across configuration items are understood and managed.

Ensuring the information pertaining to Configuration Management is adequately protected and backed up

Contributing to the identification and managing of technical risks and issues within the support to operations scope.

Reviewing, verifying, and improving documentation produced in support of project development and sustainment.

Meet assigned tasks within the project deliverables.

**Essential Skills**:
3-5 years' experience within a configuration management environment.

Highly articulate with excellent attention to detail.

Well-developed interpersonal skills.

A high level of organisational and time management skills.

**Desirable**:
Auditing and Configuration Management credentials.

Experience in software development environments.

Project Scheduling experience

Advanced Office Computing Application knowledge in Win10, Excel and Word.

Working Knowledge of Defence Foreign Military Sales processes.
