**The Role**
- Accountable to lead a team, allocate work, resources and tasks; set work area priorities, develop strategies and evaluate business outcomes.
- Manage workflows and resources, prepare work area and team plans detailing measurable milestones and expected outcomes.
- Accountable for the development of materiel logistics strategies and plans for information, communications, quality and resources that support the objectives of a sustainment activity.
- Prepare, implement and maintain policy, processes and procedures to support the sustainment of equipment in accordance with Defence requirements.

**About our Team**
The Cyberspace Operations Systems Program Office (COSPO) acquires and sustains information warfare systems (Products) in order to support ADF mission in cyberspace. Reporting to the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Manager, the ILS Officer's primary purpose is to ensure that all ILS activities meet the objectives across various COSPO Product Lines and to enable communication and collaboration between COSPO teams in support of ILS outcomes.

The ILS Officer should expect to engage actively; driving outcomes in an autonomous and agile environment. They will be involved in the Engineering Change and Quarterly Materiel Review (QMR) process, participating in forums such as the:

- Product Management Forum (PMF), and any
- Material System Review meetings.

The primary objective is to ensure that the Engineering Change Process incorporates ILS requirements for product design changes. The ILS Officer will work with key project stakeholders, such as the Asset Manager, Configuration Manager, Software Asset Officer, and Software Maintenance Officer, to maintain configuration and quality standards aligned with COPSO Engineering and Maintenance Management Systems.

The ILS Officer must understand, and report on internal process flows and identify risks, issues, and opportunities related to ILS support. Furthermore, the ILS Officer shall lead the daily toolbox, sustainment risk management meetings, and the process improvement working group (PIWG), demonstrating leadership and proactive problem-solving skills.

Essential:

- Logistics Leadership / Management.
- Team Leadership and Mentoring
- Experience providing data analysis to enable strategic outcomes
- ASDEFCON or Engineer/ILS Artefact Development.
- Experience operating within a Defence Systems Program Office or similar construct.
- Complex Stakeholder Engagement.

Desirable:

- Personnel Management Experience.
- workflow Management Experience
- Process Design and Development.
- Warehousing / PHS&T Experience.
- Software Procurement and Maintenance Experience.
