The Australian Bureau of Statistics is looking to fill multiple ICT Support Officer roles in the Delivery & Support team of the End User Computing (EUC) section within our Security and Infrastructure Branch.

These roles are primarily office-based and not suited to working full-time from home. The positions involve working in virtual teams across the country.

**About the roles**

**ICT Support Officers** in the Delivery & Support team are versatile and responsibilities include:

- Provide onsite and remote technical support for all End User Computing (EUC) connected infrastructure (including laptops, printers, mobile / smart phones, tablets). Some examples of products supported are Windows 10/11, Citrix and Microsoft Office Products.
- The management and distribution of the physical ICT laptop and desktop fleet, including updating asset registers. (ServiceNow).
- The configuration and support for networked MFD’s. (Papercut).
- The provision and support for ICT assistive technologies.
- Facilitation for office refits and moves of the ICT end user hardware.
- Monitor ticket queues to action and triage tickets, ensuring prompt and accurate handling. (ServiceNow).

**What we are looking for (selection criteria)**

As an **APS 4 or APS 5 ICT Support Officer** in EUC you should have the following skills, qualities, and experience to:

- provide technical expertise in the delivery of project objectives
- achieve results within a project or business delivery team in a multi-disciplinary setting
- deliver outputs from supplied specifications using agreed standards and tools to achieve well-engineered results to ABS standard
- build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
- contribute to building the future culture of the ABS.

Experience supporting end users utilising Citrix and Microsoft Virtual desktops (Cloud based or On premise) and administering using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager or Microsoft Intune would be advantageous.
