**Position Summary**:
The HR Coordinator supports country HRBP in both administrations, coordination and execution across the entire HR function for both retail and corporate. The position involves end-to-end recruitment, general HR and payroll support, adhoc office duties, and understanding policies, procedures, and processes in accordance with legislation and best-practice approach in the country.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:
HR Support & Office Support
- Partner with country HRBP to communicate and administer various Human Resources policies, procedures, and processes in accordance with laws, standards and government regulations.
- Provide administrative support, as needed to HRBP. This may include creating and maintaining organizational charts, ensuring employee data is up to date, scheduling and coordination, and preparing for key meetings.
- Support on retail personnel reports and analysis (headcount, recruitment status, KPIs(turnover, productivity, bonus rate, payroll %, HC, etc.), rostering, proposing action plan)
- Ensure employee data records are updated as/when employment changes are made
- Send employment letters via DocuSign
- Ensure compliance with local legislation
- Provide support to payroll team and respond to teammate payroll queries
- Support in the coordination and organizing of team events
- Perform office management duties as required - ordering, maintenance & repairs, etc.

Talent Acquisition
- Work with Country HRBP on recruitment for corporate and retail teammates. Provides end-to-end recruitment support through posting ads, shortlisting, phone screening, interviewing and conducting reference checks where applicable.
- Compare market data and award rates to provide recommendations
- Assist with onboarding of new teammates in partnership with Recruiter and Hiring Manager. This includes new-starter paperwork, set-up and preparation of induction and training.

Teammate Support
- Assist with the planning and implementation of team engagement activities and recognition programs for retention
- Promote & establish a positive teammate experience; drive the UA culture through all levels of the business unit

Human Resource Ops
- Support HR Operations with payroll process for all teammates on a fortnightly basis
- Collate employment variations and consolidate weekly payroll hours alongside payroll team
- Gather documentation for terminations and resignations and ensure that all documentation is returned for timely processing

**Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)**:

- Good working knowledge of Australian legislation and some experience handling Retail Employee Relations issues
- Some knowledge of HR processes including payroll, performance management, talent management, compensation, training and organizational development.
- Proven experience working with others to maintain and build cross-functional (internal and external) relationships
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, and ability to effectively disseminate information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, proficiency with HR systems
- Strong organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
- Good communication, negotiation & stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently, strong multi-tasking ability and detail-oriented

**Education And / Or Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred
- 2 years of HR supporting experience with industry-specific experience in retail or service is preferred
- Good generalist experience in most functional areas - Employee Relations, Employment Law, Staffing, Compensation, Organizational and Educational development
