**About the role**
An exciting opportunity exists to lead the Community Facilities Projects and Partnerships team in meeting the present and future operational needs of Council’s community facilities, enabling and supporting our community to deliver projects that achieve their aspirations and enhancing the relationship and satisfaction of our important community stakeholders and partners through a refined focus on improving the customer experience. This role will lead a dynamic, creative and highly engaged team who are passionate about improving functions, processes, systems and efficiencies that benefit our community and organisation. **Key Selection Criteria**
**Mandatory Qualifications and Experience**
- Degree qualification in Sports Management, Project Management, Recreation Planning or similar is desirable but not essential.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in one or more of the following areas is desirable:

- Project management
- Major project delivery
- Sport and recreation and/or general facility management
- Facility maintenance
- Contract management
- Community engagement
- At least five years staff supervision experience
- A track record of earning and maintaining the trust and respect of internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated staff management experience and ability to establish team goals and action plans for team members
- Exceptional stakeholder management and engagement skills with proven ability
- Exceptional strategic and operational planning and policy development skills
- Demonstrated skills and experience in budget management, project management and report writing
- A current driver’s licence
- First aid qualification and CPR
- Working With Children Check
