Gym Receptionist

Body Sculpting and Fitness is a gym in Torquay with a large client base providing 24-hour access, Group Fitness, Child Minding and many other on-site facilities.

We are looking for a new part-time receptionist to join our team

The role includes around 10 hours of reception work with the optional Saturday on a monthly rotation. There will be plenty of opportunity to grow and learn with our friendly and helpful team. As well as the option to eventually develop your own Personal Training Business if desired.

The applicant must be willing to be trained in Group Fitness classes and to provide coverage for other staff/trainers’ classes and shifts when away.

The Role:

- Interacting with members
- Walking the gym floor and helping members with exercises/techniques and questions
- Social media content
- General gym cleaning and tidying
- Sales and customer service experience

About you:

- A passion for health and fitness
- Willing to learn and work as part of a team
- Have minimum Cert III in Fitness
- Prior experience in a gym environment preferable but not a must
- Strong communication skills
- Friendly and Outgoing with a positive attitude
- Punctual and flexible.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week
