**Who are we looking for?**
Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is seeking a Events and Administration Officer to join School of Biomedical Sciences, Faculty of Health, Academic Division.
The Events and Administration Officer supports the Senior Project Officer and Program Manager in the administration and implementation of the Bridge and BridgeTech Programs. The Bridge and BridgeTech Programs, are initiatives of the Medical Technologies and Pharmaceutical Growth Centre MTPConnect, and are commercialisation training programs which aim to boost the translation of Australian pharmaceutical and medical technology research. The programs aim to build the knowledge, skills, capabilities and networks of researchers, scientists and entrepreneurs to improve the commercialisation outcomes from the sector. Under the direction of the Program Manager and Senior Project Officer, the Administration Officer will liaise with the Programs’ consortium members, external industry collaborators and program participants to coordinate logístical, marketing and administrative elements of the programs and the associated events.

**About the Centre**
The aims of the Centre for Genomics and Personalised Health are to translate knowledge from genomics research to improve human health, by discovering better methods of diagnosing disease, developing targeted treatments based on genetics, and training the next generation of translational genomics scientists.

- Personalised Therapies
Within the Centre are a number of research groups, research programs and training programs - including a portfolio of externally funded commercialisation training programs included the Bridge Program, the BridgeTech Program and the Bridge and BridgeTech Fellowships Program. These programs are funded by MTPConnect via the REDI and CTCM Initiatives and co-funded and supported by industry.
A program team within QUT and the Centre for Genomics and Personalised Health assists with the administration, management and delivery of these programs.
