We are seeking an experienced production manager to maintain factory operations in a Polyurethane parts manufacturing plant, to join our established team. The role will be to ensure the smooth operation by maintaining all equipment, managing process and finding solutions for optimal production in a fast-paced environment,

Our organisation services the mining and material handling industry with custom manufactured parts.

Reporting to management, this role will see you hold responsibility for:

- Overseeing all aspects of the production process and demonstrate hands on management with responsibility in maintenance of all machinery
- Follow standards, procedures and processes for the production of high quality products
- Ensure all WH&S requirements are followed at all times
- Ensure effective stock control and replenishment.
- Collaborate with the supply, maintenance, and planning teams to improve productivity and make necessary mechanical repairs
- Ability to work well under pressure, assess, evaluate difficult situations and execute decisions in the best interests of the company.

**Essential Criteria**
- Fast paced production/manufacturing experience with experience in Polyurethane processing and quality control systems related to material handling industry.
- Minimum 3-5 years**’** experience in production management in polyurethane processing.
- High attention to details and sense of urgency with an ability to work in a specialised environment
- A hands-on attitude, solution-based thinker with and a strong mechanical background.
- Forklift Licence preferable
- Ability to perform various manufacturing functions requiring manual labour and lifting abilities. Ability to lift to 25kg manually
- Problem solving skills
- Zero drug and alcohol tolerance to maintain a safe work environment

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Polyurethane /Material Handling Industry: 4 years (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
