We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Coordinator Facility Maintenance to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a long-term strategic plan for the lifecycle management of our Council-owned facilities. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Facility Maintenance team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to the community.

About the Position
Develop and implement a long-term strategic plan for facility lifecycle management
Optimize resource allocation to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
Foster a culture of continuous improvement through data-driven decision making
Oversee day-to-day operations of the Facility Maintenance team
Manage and prioritize facility maintenance activities
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
Develop and manage the Facility Maintenance team's budget
Lead, develop, and motivate a high-performing team
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards
Deliver exceptional customer service
Skills and Experience
Building practitioner / civil engineering certification or equivalent qualification and or demonstrated substantial relevant experience working in the coordination of contracts and
Demonstrated experience in the leadership including substantial experience in managing employees using sound management and organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise and co-ordinate day-to-day activities and specific projects
Well-developed planning and analytical skills which will enable strategies to future proof the City of Monash’s Assets - ‘planning for the future’
Extensive and diverse experience in project, contract and financial and asset management
Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholder
**Requirements**:
A current Victorian driver’s licence
Employee Working with Children’s Check
Satisfactory National Police Check; and
Other pre-employment checks may be required depending on the role requirements
