**What success looks like in this role**:
- Define Hardware Asset Management processes for maintaining end-user hardware devices and related data.
- Determine Software Asset Management processes to track software licenses and ensure compliance and timely renewals.
- Collaborate with other ITIL Practice Owners to ensure processes to support accurate asset and configuration item data.
- Verify contractual service support requirements are understood and maintained.
- Be involved with defining ITSM processes.
- Create and maintain process and procedure documentation.
- Provide business value by ensuring asset and configuration data is fit for purpose.
- Oversee governance to maintain asset and configuration item data accuracy.
- Ensure foundational data is in place for maintaining asset and configuration item data and reporting.
- Meet SLAs and KPIs for the asset and configuration management processes.
- Organize and facilitate meetings, such as hardware asset inventory, software license and data accuracy reviews.
- Train stakeholders on processes to ensure data update compliance.
- Analyze data and processes for continual improvement opportunities and implement remediation plans.
- Collaborate with teams for adherence to standard practices and policies.

**You will be successful in this role if you have**:
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 3 years and above of relevant experience in ITSM involving implementing service asset and configuration management (SACM) or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- **_Must be an Australian Citizen with a NV2 clearance is preferred (or NV1 clearance with eligibility to obtain NV2 could be considered too). _**
- **_Must be willing to work onsite. _**
- Experience with managing IT asset lifecycle and configure items for hardware & software for end-user.
- Should understand ITSM ticketing tools. Knowledge/experience with BMC Remedy or Service Now.
- Demonstrate knowledge of asset and configuration management practices.
- Basic understanding of ITIL V4 processes and principals.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective time management, organizational skills and attention to details.
- Position requires onsite presence at client location.
