What is the role?

Applications are sought from suitably qualified applicants wishing to be considered for the role of Administration Officer - Learning and Development Command.

Learning and Development Command drives the AFP to acquire knowledge, develop skills and create a learning culture that helps the AFP thrive and outsmart serious crime.

The AFP is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) certified by the Australian Skills Quality Authority to provide a range of Vocational Education and Training services and provide quality training and qualifications that are nationally recognised.

RTO requirements;
the development of training packages;
approaching tasks with initiative and a positive attitude; and;
contributing actively to the ongoing continuous improvement of policies and procedures.

As a Team Member in the AFP you will be required to contribute to the achievement of outcomes in accordance with the regulatory framework, the AFP Code of Conduct and the AFP Governance Instruments. It is expected that the successful applicant will deliver on the core responsibilities and meet any requirements of the position as outlined below.

What will you do?

Under the direction of senior team members, this role will be responsible for delivering outcomes related to the AFP's learning culture, including administering tasks to support the AFP's requirements as an RTO. This includes, but is not limited to administration functions and data entry related to:
Contributing to the development of instructional material such as policies, procedures and processes
Assisting with projects and associated financial activities
Providing support for RTO assurance activities including gap analysis', validation, moderation, evaluation and continuous improvement
General tasks to assist the team to achieve outcomes
Contribute to the SAP Learning Solution including
Data analysis and reporting
Maintenance and quality assurance of the course/qualification catalogues
Organising meetings and secretariat functions
Providing advice to inform the development of training packages and associated resources
Liaising with clients and building collaborative relationships
Maintaining contemporary skills and knowledge
Essential Requirements

You must be an Australian Citizen.
A Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
Has contemporary knowledge and experience relevant to the role.
Desirable Requirements

The following skills and/or experience would be highly regarded:
Relevant qualification or extensive experience and knowledge in area of expertise.
