**Quality Assurance Officers**
to join their team.

**Day shift: 4am - 1pm**

**Pay Rate: $31.88**

**Day shift: 7am - 3:30pm (will need to be able to work in strong smelling environments)**

**Key responsibilities**:

- Work closely with production supervisors, employees, and site management to ensure conformance to company standards and specifications.
- Enforce quality standards, perform the necessary daily checks, and provide feedback immediately.
- Organise and drive process improvements
- Conduct internal quality systems audits.
- Daily reporting as required.
- Follow up complaints and internal non-compliance issues.
- Daily GMP checks and report immediately on breaches.
- Monitor HACCP
- Assist in micro sampling, micro swabbing, etc
- Assist with the development and implementation of QA policies and procedures.
- Be an active and pro-active member of the Quality Assurance team.
- Inform your manager immediately of any issues that may arise that will impact the Quality Assurance of the product.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in quality assurance within a food related discipline required (Poultry highly regarded)
- Food Science/Microbiological background is essential.
- Knowledge and experience working in and industry with HACCP Food Safety/Risk Management; SQF;CFMSR, ISO systems will be highly regarded;
- Ability to work in a fast paced & challenging environment.
- Report writing skills required;
- electronic quality management system and production systems is highly desirable.
- Ability to investigate and complete root cause analysis.
