**The Role**
As the Air Domain 147 Desk Support Officer, you will work closely with lead Desk Officer as well as individual Units, using your skills and knowledge to support delivery of services to Defence working under the supervision of 147 Desk Officer. During slower times, you may be required to support other teams within the unit.

**About our Team**
Headquarters Air Force Training Group (HQAFTG) provides command, governance, planning and oversight of the Air Force training system. It provides appropriately trained and skilled personnel to the ADF workforce in order to achieve capability outcomes.

A7 Force Development, Directorate of Learning Systems (DLS) is responsible for supporting the Air Force Learning Management Authority (LMA) in the governance and quality management of the Air Force Learning System (AFLSys).

DLS is led by the Director of Learning Systems and comprises two supporting sub-directorates:

- Learning Assurance and Learning Systems.
- Management of the Air Domain 147 Maintenance Training Organisation sits with the Learning Assurance team.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual, who has the following:

- Experience in report and policy analysis, able to read and interpret policy and regulations.
- Understanding of the processes that govern Vocational Education and Training.
- Knowledge of or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of the Defence aviation training processes and management.
- Strong administrative and record management skills.
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to adapt to change in a positive and flexible manner.
- Demonstrated experience in using standard office based software (eg. word, excel and outlook), and an ability to learn new software systems as required.
