Retread Factory Manager

**About the role**

You will provide a clear focus, direction and leadership to achieve daily budget and production targets as you manage our Retread factory. A specific focus will be to reduce waste as you improve production methods and outputs. You will work closely with the National Manager - Bandag Factories and Regional Manager - Bandag Factories demonstrating high level communication skills, along with basic report writing.

**About you**
- A passion for work health, safety and environment
- Proven people management skills
- Production management and quality assurance experience
- Strong analytical and mechanical aptitude as well as the ability to demonstrate initiative
- An ability to work within budget and identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce costs
- Must possess a current driver's license and be prepared to work alternating hours where required to facilitate production requirements
- Trade qualification in mechanical, electrical or related discipline is desirable but not essential
- Bandag Master Craftsman certificate or similar would be highly regarded but also not essential as training will be provided
- Be able to travel interstate or overseas for training if required
